Meet the Team… Martin Howe

As part of our ‘Meet the Team’ series, we’re introducing you to one of our Directors, Martin Howe.

During lockdown and the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, which is making ‘face-to-face’ meetings impossible, and we’re all used to meeting each other as pixels on Zoom now, we thought it’d be great to give you a little insight into all of our team from their lockdown bases.

Martin has over 20 years of experience in financial services, specialising in all areas of financial planning.

In his spare time, Martin likes to keep fit by running and has completed four marathons, including the London Marathon – twice! His family are also football enthusiasts, being Sunderland AFC season ticket holders.

What is your background/how did you end up in your role? 
I worked in local branches for NatWest Bank, enjoyed helping and interacting with customers and a step into Financial Advice felt like a natural progression.

What is a typical day at Three Counties like for you? 
I commit to meeting with my clients at least once a year and being available when required so the majority of my time is involved in making sure my clients have the best outcomes possible!

What is the most rewarding thing about your job? 
To make a meaningful difference to a clients quality of life. That can be helping them to retire sooner than they thought they could or assuring clients of their ongoing financial security.

What’s your passion outside of work? 
Running and boys’ football teams
