‘Meet the Team’ continues with the introduction of our director, David Heppell.
During lockdown and the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, which is making ‘face-to-face’ meetings impossible, and we’re all used to meeting each other as pixels on Zoom now, we thought it’d be great to give you a little insight into all of our team from their lockdown bases.
David is a Director, financial advisor and leads the Compliance function at Three Counties, with over 25 years’ experience in financial services. His primary role is to ensure the business maintains the highest standards of advice and service to its clients.
When it comes to leisure activities, David is a keen member of Durham Rowing Club and he also enjoys country sports.

What is your working background?
I have over 30 years’ experience in the industry, joining the industry as a tied adviser with Albany Life in 1988.
What’s a typical day at Three Counties for you?
My typical day is spent working with Three Counties’ private clients.
What is the most rewarding thing about your job?
Its always been the same, receiving a call from a new potential client who has been passed my name from an existing client. It is always such a pleasure to work with family and friends of our existing clients.
What is one thing you’ve always wanted to do?
Having been involved in motorsport in the mid 80’s, I’ve always wanted to driving a F1 car!
