As part of our ‘Meet the Team’ series, we’re introducing you to David Simpson, our Business Development Consultant.
David has been providing advice to clients for almost 30 years, working in Private Banking and Wealth Management. He now works to develop the investment business of both Three Counties and our parent firm, Greaves West & Ayre Wealth.
As Three Counties’ Business Development Consultant, David’s emphasis is on developing the firm’s Investment business. He has more than 30 years’ experience in financial services, particularly within Private Banking, and has advised clients across the North East regarding their Wealth.
In his spare time David plays cricket for Blagdon Park (where he is club Chairman) and is a keen golfer, being a member at Foxton, Alnmouth.

What is a typical day at Three Counties like for you?
Meeting in person or speaking on the phone with clients, prospective clients and professional colleagues. I am specifically seeking to develop the investment business of the two firms and so markets and economic matters tend to be at the heart of many conversations.
What is the most rewarding thing about your job?
Being part of a successful, client-centred team is of vital importance to me. Introducing people to the breadth of what the team can provide is a powerful message as we seek to develop the whole business.
