NEWS, VIEWS & TRUTHS (17TH DEC – 21ST DEC)

Published on: December 21, 2018

Well here we are; Christmas. The closure of 2018 and the final News, Views and Truths of the year.

Quite the year too.  A veritable rollercoaster of political news and market volatility.  It seems that the fabled Santa rally has not appeared this year, with somewhat of a wake-up call for investors after the hedonistic returns of 2016 and 2017.  That’s just the way the mince pie crumbles, folks.

2019 will be an interesting year.  Perhaps a huge understatement; perhaps it’s the same every year.  However, we all know what the headlines will be centred upon, both here and abroad.  Yet I’d suggest that we all simply take a step back and consider our own situations and that of others first.

We all have so much to be thankful for. Our health, our families.  Our friends and colleagues.  And this is the time to reflect upon all of that, with a definite eye to the future.

Personally, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of my colleagues at Three Counties for making it the place it is.  Genuinely I have never worked with a set of folk who care so much about each other and delivering the highest level of service to their clients.

Secondly, I’d like to say thank you to all the professionals that Three Counties work with, for the benefit of our clients.  You all add to the service that we strive to deliver and you all do it so well.

And finally, a thank you to all of Three Counties’ clients.  As we head into our 30th year, all the staff at Three Counties thank you for your continued support and we look forward to working with you and your families for the next 30 years.

As we shut up shop for the Christmas holidays, I’d just like to remind everyone that we will reopen on Wednesday 2nd January at 9am.  All of us at Three Counties wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a joyful and fulfilling New Year.

Cue the music!
